Community Survey

#FFFFFF

The Town of Estes Park uses the National Community Survey™, which is sponsored by the International City/County Management Association in cooperation with National Research Center, Inc at Polco. The questionnaire and survey methods are designed based on the experience of hundreds of local governments, ranging in size from small to large. Estes Park’s results can be benchmarked, or compared, with those of more than 600 other jurisdictions in the National Citizen Survey database. The results are used by Town officials, other agencies and community stakeholders for community planning and resource allocation, program improvement, policy-making and tracking changes in residents’ opinions about government performance.

Estes Park conducts the survey biennially. A scientific survey is mailed to a random sample of residents within Town limits, while an open, non-scientific survey is conducted later, for residents inside and outside Town limits to participate. Data is offered below for all survey years.
