Community Development

The Community Development Department provides planning, zoning, and building services to the community. These services are intended to guide development within the community to ensure safety, prosperity, and the protection of the valley's natural resources.

Planning services are provided within the Town of Estes Park, using the Estes Park Development Code as the governing document. Building services are provided within town limits, governed by the 2015 IBC, plus local amendments.

The Community Development Department's goal is to provide excellent customer service in a timely manner.
