The day after Thanksgiving marks the official beginning of the Christmas Season in Estes Park. It's celebrated with the most magical event of the year, the "Come Catch the Glow" Christmas Parade of Lights.

At 5:30 p.m., just as dusk arrives, floats with thousands of tiny twinkling lights roll by lighting up the street. There will be storybook figures, angels, snowmen, marching bands, entertainers, wildlife characters and of course, Santa ends the parade!

Other events begin at noon, including visits with Santa, pony rides, hay rides, festive carolers and adorable walking characters along Elkhorn Avenue.
